1. About Lunar CV

Lunar CV is a boutique career brand consultancy helping professionals and leaders communicate their career brand — on paper, online, and in the room.
We provide professional CV writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, interview coaching, and career brand development services.

2. Using Our Services

By booking or purchasing any service from Lunar CV, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These terms explain how we work together and what you can expect.

You confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or over.
  • The information you provide (for example, your work history, personal details, and feedback) is accurate and true.
  • You will engage actively in the process (completing any questionnaires, providing documents, or reviewing drafts).

3. Our Process

Our services are collaborative. We work closely with you to help you uncover, shape, and communicate your professional story.
During our work together we will:

  • Request relevant information and documents.
  • Deliver first drafts within the agreed timescale.
  • Provide revisions until you’re happy with the final result.

We cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers or interviews, since hiring decisions are made by employers.
What we guarantee is our full professional commitment to helping you present your experience in the best possible light.

4. Payments

Full payment is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe or other approved platforms.
All prices are stated in GBP (£) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.

Payments are non-transferable between services unless agreed in writing.
All refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Any transaction fees charged by third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe) are non-refundable.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Because our services are bespoke and require preparation before your consultation, the following applies:

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking and at least 72 hours (3 business days) before your scheduled consultation, you may request a full refund.
  • If you cancel less than 72 hours before your scheduled consultation, a £50 cancellation fee (or equivalent in your currency) will be deducted to cover time and preparation.
  • Once consultation materials have been prepared, the intake questionnaire reviewed, or a session has taken place, work is considered to have begun and refunds are no longer available.

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and we’ll always do our best to accommodate rescheduling where possible.
Our approach is built on fairness, transparency, and client satisfaction.

6. Revisions

Your service includes a specific number of revisions, as outlined in your package.
Reasonable additional edits may be provided at our discretion to ensure your complete satisfaction.

7. Timeframes and Communication

We’ll confirm your delivery timeline at the start of the project.
Delays in providing information or feedback may extend this timeline.
We always aim to deliver work on time and will communicate promptly about any changes.

All communication and document delivery will take place via email unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You are responsible for ensuring that our messages are received and not filtered to junk or spam folders.

8. Confidentiality

All information you share with Lunar CV is kept strictly confidential.
We will never share, sell, or disclose your details to third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent (for example, to publish a testimonial you’ve approved).

9. Data Protection and Privacy

We collect, store, and process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
By using our services, you consent to Lunar CV processing your information for the purposes of delivering your service and communicating with you about your project.

10. Intellectual Property

All written materials created by Lunar CV — including CVs, LinkedIn profiles, interview guides, and supporting documents — are original works produced for your personal use.
You are welcome to use, edit, and share your final documents for your own professional purposes.

Lunar CV retains the rights to its proprietary templates, processes, and frameworks, which may not be copied, resold, or reproduced for commercial use.

11. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure the quality and accuracy of our work, Lunar CV cannot accept responsibility for any losses (financial or otherwise) resulting from the use of our materials, advice, or guidance.

Our role is to support and equip you; the responsibility for how materials are used rests with you.

12. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for delays or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, we will communicate promptly and agree a suitable resolution or revised timeline.

13. Complaints and Resolution

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lunar CV regarding the use of our services and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or communications.

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements.
